Fantini Mosaici for Palazzo Versace Macau: the perfect osmosis between Italian excellence and high-end hospitality projects
The Palazzo Versace Macau project confirms the strength of the heritage of skills and expertise acquired by Fantini Mosaici in the execution of high-end hospitality projects
The relationship of trust between Fantini Mosaici and the Versace family has deep roots. A collaboration spanning over four decades, it began with the creation of the sumptuous mosaics for Gianni Versace's magnificent residence, Casa Casuarina, in South Beach Miami, and has continued through all Versace boutiques worldwide and the family's private properties.
Palazzo Versace Macau is the third Versace Hotel, following openings in Australia and the United Arab Emirates. Located in the Grand Lisboa Palace complex, in a 20-story tower with 270 rooms and suites, it is an apotheosis of high craftsmanship. The spectacular Versace style serves as a unifying thread throughout all the spaces.
Genuine works of art in terrazzo and mosaic follow one another and enchant guests, starting with the entrance lobby featuring a mosaic depiction of the Medusa, the emblem of the Maison. Italian beauty and craftsmanship triumph in Fantini Mosaici’s work throughout the pools, the SPA, the rooms, and the restaurant—numerous spaces that required over six million mosaic tiles cut and laid by hand by the company’s mosaicists.
Bold colors for the hotel's indoor pools, with over three and a half million glass and Italian marble mosaic tiles depicting dragons, flowers, and traditional Chinese symbols of well-being, wealth, fortune, and happiness. In the SPA, the mosaics blend pale pink, white, and soft gray tones in the floor and entrance walls, creating delicate floral designs.
The immersion in Italian excellence in the Art of Mosaic continues throughout the wellness area with classic-inspired decorations in shades of gold and platinum, accented by hints of rose gold and walls and stairs infused with corals in red and orange tones.
A soft mood for the restaurant where the traditional Venetian-style terrazzo floor in black and smoke gray creates a pleasant contrast with the intense colors of the other areas.
With its vastness, complexity, and variety of decorations, the Palazzo Versace Macau project confirms the strength of the heritage of skills and expertise acquired by Fantini Mosaici in the execution of high-end hospitality projects.
