Fantini Mosaici's Artistry Graces the New Bvlgari Milan Boutique
A dialogue between architecture, art and craftsmanship at the heart of Milan marks the first collaboration between Bvlgari and Fantini Mosaici.
Fantini Mosaici is one of the key contributors to the new Bvlgari flagship store in Milan—an architectural project that blends high jewellery with artisanal savoir-faire, housed within the restored Palazzetto Taverna Radice Fossati on Via Monte Napoleone. In this space where Rome meets Milan, art and culture engage in conversation through refined materials, iconic symbols and curated installations.
At the heart of the boutique, on the ground floor, Fantini Mosaici has completed two exceptionally refined works—true expressions of artistry, material mastery, and craftsmanship. The first is located in the Rotonda, a circular space reminiscent of the Temple of Minerva, where the floor becomes a visual narrative.
Here, the elegant veining of Calacatta marble is interwoven with curved brass inlays, forming a harmonious design brought to life through the ancient technique of mosaic. Each module, pre-assembled in the workshop, was installed and polished on-site with tailor-like precision—a meticulous process that engaged specialised artisans for over three weeks.
The second installation, adjacent to the striking monumental staircase, is a tribute to the beauty of natural materials: interwoven bands of golden Travertine and light Verde Alpi frame a refined terrazzo composition made of Botticino, Breccia Aurora, Red Onyx, Ming Green and Pink Onyx. This sophisticated palette gives depth and rhythm to the space, thanks to a meticulous composition that balances natural tones with elegant geometric patterns.
Entirely crafted from carefully selected Italian materials, these installations mark the first collaboration between Bvlgari and Fantini Mosaici—once again confirming the artisanal excellence of a brand that speaks the language of contemporary luxury at its highest level.
